Welcome to my new website
As I write, we are approaching Christmas and all that it entails, in the UK, a time for the winter feast in the darkest days, a time to reflect, rest and recuperate. I wish that was how I felt! At this time I am busily preparing for the forthcoming teaching tour of Australia March-early May 2020. Something I look forward to, meeting new people and seeing new places, whilst at the same experiencing all the anxiety that such a big trip involves, for me anyway. 2019 started with me finishing work for an exhibition ‘Out of the Box’ at Carisbrooke Castle Museum. This was made all the more difficult due to a serious fracture of my right shoulder, which I am pleased to say has healed well in the last year. I am so grateful to my Pilates group for helping me get through that time.
I am looking forward to a busy year of travel and teaching in 2020. I will also be working on pieces for an exhibition to take place at the wonderful Russell-Cotes Museum in Bournemouth. It is truly an amazing building in a breathtaking location, full of the most wonderful collection of Annie and Merton Russell-Cotes, Victorian collectors of art and artefacts.
